I met Mark totally by accident 20 years ago.
I met Mark totally by accident 20 years ago. I was actually lost, trying to find my way to a job interview when I ended up walking into a construction site. Mark was the architect in charge there. He had this really friendly smile and offered to help me find my way - turns out he helped me find way more than just directions that day! We clicked right away because we both loved design. We'd sit in coffee shops and draw houses on napkins (yeah, we were that couple!), and later we had so much fun fixing up our first place together. Looking back, we've built this amazing life - not just with big plans, but with all these little special moments too. This year is our 15th year and it's crazy to think about everything we've been through. Mark's job has taken us all over the world, which has been super exciting. We made this wonderful home together, and when my mom got sick last year, Mark was my rock. He was there for me every step of the way. For our anniversary date, he had this sweet surprise planned. He took me to that building where we first met - it's this amazing tall building now. We went all the way up to the roof, and there he gave me these beautiful new rings. Like, how perfect is that? Right where our story started.
