Growing up, my mom gave so much of herself to ensure I had every opportunity. To show my appreciation, every Mother's Day I arrange a girls' trip, just the two of us. Whether a beach retreat or city escape, it's our chance to relax and bond without distractions.This year, I was eager to spoil her. After arriving at our tropical hotel, I presented a gift box tied with a bow. Nestled inside was a pair of gems earrings I knew she'd adore. Watching her smile took me right back to childhood, when her smile made everything better. Though life brings changes, her nurturing spirit is what I strive for each day.
