We have been married for 6 wonderful years now.
We have been married for 6 wonderful years now. For our 6th anniversary, I wanted to do something special to show Michael how much I appreciate everything he does for our family. I booked us a weekend getaway at a lovely cabin just outside of Boulder. When we arrived, Michael was thrilled - it was the perfect mountain escape. We spent the days hiking beautiful trails, stargazing at night, and really reconnecting without any distractions. One evening during our trip, Michael and I were sitting by the outdoor firepit admiring the view of the stars. I turned to him and said "Michael, I fall more in love with you every day. Thank you for your constant love and support. You are my best friend." He smiled back at me in a way that still takes my breath away after all these years. Moments like that remind me why I chose him as my life partner. I feel incredibly lucky to be celebrating another happy year of marriage with my soulmate.
