For our third anniversary, Chris and I decided to recreate our first date.

For our third anniversary, Chris and I decided to recreate our first date. We hit the same little bowling alley where we'd awkwardly flirted years ago. This time, though, I didn't pretend to be bad at bowling to impress him! We laughed over greasy pizza and cheap beer, remembering how nervous we'd been back then. Chris still teases me about the gutter balls I'd thrown on purpose. After bowling, we walked to the ice cream shop nearby. Sitting on a bench, sharing a sundae, Chris pulled out a small box. Inside was a gold necklace engraved with a unique date. "To remember where it all began," he said. It wasn't fancy, but it was perfect. Sometimes the best celebrations are the simplest ones, filled with laughter and love.
