Can you believe David and I have been married 34 years? It seems like just yesterday that we met at a company picnic. I was immediately drawn to his kind eyes and quirky sense of humor. David still likes to tease me about how I spilled my drink all over him within five minutes of our introduction! Thankfully he thought my clumsy charm was endearing. We started dating soon after and really bonded over our shared love of music, movies, and good food. David proposed during a weekend rock climbing trip in the Cascades four years later. I said yes between giggles as he struggled to get the ring box out of his sweaty backpack. Marriage hasn't always been easy, but our strong friendship has seen us through it all. This year we're celebrating with a week-long RV trip to the coast. I can't wait to make new memories with my best friend as we embark on this next chapter of life together.
