Jessica and I have been together for over 30 wonderful years, with our marriage continuing to grow stronger each passing day. While our nest emptied as our children Samantha and Jacob went off to college, our love has kept us feeling young at heart. Our dear friends and family had seen us through all the chapters of our lives together so far. I decided to hold a celebration at home as Jessica's 50th birthday arrived. On the big day, I spent hours in the kitchen baking Jessica's favorite recipes while stringing her favorite flowers around the house. By evening, soft music played as our guests arrived. When she walked in to see the festivities, her eyes welled with joyful tears. As we toasted to her with drinks and cake, I watched with full heart how loved Jessica is by all - most of all by me, now and always, until our very last day.
