Stephanie and I were high school sweethearts who drifted apart after graduation. Fate brought us back together years later working in the city. Rekindling what we once had wasn't easy but felt so right. One year has passed since our courthouse ceremony - a result of Stephanie's spontaneity and zest for life that drew me right back in. Adjusting to married life in our busy careers has had its ups and downs, but Stephanie's humor and adventurous spirit makes every challenge an experience. To celebrate, we're returning to our favorite beach from childhood and packing a picnic just like our reunion date. I'm grateful to be on this journey with my best friend and can't wait to make more memories as spouses in the years to come.
