Thirty years. It's hard to believe Carl and I have been married for three whole decades. So much has changed since our wedding day, but our love and commitment to each other has stayed as strong as ever. I still remember when we first met in high school. Carl was the quarterback of the football team and I was head of the science club. We seemed like an unlikely match, but there was an instant spark between us. Who would have thought that small town romance would last all these years? To celebrate 30 years, Carl surprised me with a weekend getaway back to our honeymoon spot - a cozy bed and breakfast in the Pocono Mountains. It was so wonderful to return to where our lives truly began together all those years ago. Standing on the balcony, gazing at the twilight with Carl's strong arms around me, I felt overwhelmed with gratitude. Three decades filled with joy, heartache, and everyday routines - but mostly love. Carl Jackson, you are my best friend, my rock, the love of my life.
