For our anniversary this year, we decided to take a short trip to a nearby seaside village called Trigg Beach.
For our anniversary this year, we decided to take a short trip to a nearby seaside village called Trigg Beach. On the morning of our special day, we woke with the sun and had a leisurely breakfast watching the waves roll onto the shore. Still feeling full from breakfast, we set off for a long walk along the coast path. The ocean air was bracing but refreshing on my skin as we strolled hand in hand, gazing out at the vast sea and rugged cliffs dotted with seabirds. After our walk, Claire surprised me with a picnic she had packed for us to enjoy overlooking the water. As we sat listening to the shorebirds call and feeling the sea spray on our faces, I couldn't help but feel immense gratitude for the life we've built together. Four years had flown by in what seemed like a blink, and I was more in love with Claire than ever. In that moment, I was truly glad to be spending our anniversary at our favorite place with the one I love most.
