For our 15th wedding anniversary, I wanted to do something special to show Michael how much he means to me.
For our 15th wedding anniversary, I wanted to do something special to show Michael how much he means to me. We met so young and have been through so much together over the years - raising two kids who are now teens, dealing with the losses of friends and family, supporting each other through ups and downs. Michael has always been my rock. To thank him, I planned a surprise party inviting all of our closest friends and family. I kept Michael distracted all day with errands and activities before leading him back to our house where everyone jumped out yelling "Surprise!" The look of shock and joy on his face made all the effort worthwhile. At the party, I had each of our guests share a favorite memory of Michael and I through the years. By the end of the night, we were both in tears, reminiscing on our life together so far and feeling grateful for our love. It was the best anniversary yet.
