We organized a family vacation to Hawaii.
We organized a family vacation to Hawaii. It was the first big trip we had taken with our three kids. We spent a week on Maui, bouncing between the beach, hiking trails and kid-friendly luaus. One morning, David surprised me by packing a picnic breakfast and arranging for us to have a couple's massage on the beach facing the ocean. While the kids played in the sand, we relaxed side by side getting pampered. It felt like a breath of calm in what can sometimes feel like chaos parenting young kids. That quiet moment together looking out at the gorgeous view reminded me of why I fell in love with David - he still makes me feel special, supported and cared for after few years. I'm excited for the family adventures yet to come.
