We met 8 years ago at a dinner party thrown by mutual friends. Melissa was seated next to me and we got to chatting about our careers and dreams of traveling the world. I was immediately impressed by her passion and zest for life. By the end of the night, I knew I had to see her again. For our 6th wedding anniversary, I wanted to do something really special. I arranged for a private chef's table at the restaurant I currently work at. We enjoyed a gourmet 7 course meal while reminiscing about our journey so far. After dinner, we walked in a park with beautiful lights, just like our first unofficial date. Reconnecting with Melissa in the city where we began brought back so many amazing memories. I'm grateful to continue making new ones with my soulmate.
