Zoe and I met during her freshman year when she joined the campus film club I was president of. Though I was a senior, I was instantly drawn to her creativity and bright spirit. Before I knew it, Zoe stole my heart. After I graduated, we made the long distance work as she finished her degree. Three years have passed and our love has only grown stronger. For our anniversary, Zoe visited me for the weekend. On the evening of her arrival, I took her to dinner at our favorite local restaurant, where we had our first date. Over wine by candlelight, I presented her with a black box, inside was a pearl bracelet. I clasped it around her wrist.
