Looking back, I still can't believe how quickly Michael and I connected from the very first night we met by chance in the dorm kitchen, bonding over our similar interests in art and dreams of travelling the world. Through late night study sessions and adventures exploring our new city on weekends, we easily fell into step as very best friends. It was not long before sparks ignited into something deeper and more meaningful. As our one year anniversary approached, Micheal planned the perfect movie night in, thoughtfully choosing all my favorite romantic comedies stacked and ready to go. Halfway through the second film, he presented me with a small jewelry box. Nestled inside was a pair of cute bear stud. Leaning into his warm embrace feeling beyond lucky, I couldn't wait to make countless more precious memories as we continued writing our story together chapter by chapter.
