Two years ago I married my best friend Tasha and she's been my rock ever since.
Two years ago I married my best friend Tasha and she's been my rock ever since. For our anniversary, I wanted to treat Tasha to something special. As a chef, coming up with new culinary ideas is my passion. So I planned an intimate dinner just for two at our place, but with a fun twist. I blindfolded Tasha so she wouldn't know what was coming. Course by course, I hand fed her bites of each dish, whispering what ingredients I used. There was a lot of laughter as Tasha tried guessing the exotic flavors. I think she was impressed by my tropical salmon crudo and smoked bacon risotto. By dessert, some wine had relaxed us into a playful mood. Feeding Tasha chocolate mousse by spoon, I knew our love was as strong as that first kiss. Two years have flown by in a blaze of non-stop cooking and caring for each other. I'm thankful Tasha supports my culinary dreams and that we'll have many more anniversaries of food, fun and growing closer together.
