Over all those decades, we've faced both ups and downs but our love has stood the test of time. Bridget has been by my side through it all - raising our children, supporting my career, caring for my aging parents. She is truly my soulmate. To mark six decades of wedded bliss, I arranged for all our family to join us for a weekend celebration. Our grandchildren decorated the backyard with streamers and balloons. Laughter filled the air as old stories were shared and memories recounted. I held Bridget in my arms as we shared our first dance, just as at our wedding all those years ago. Tears of joy shone in her eyes, just as beautiful as the first day I saw her. I am so thankful that out of all the women in the world, she chose me. My darling Bridget, you will always have my heart.
