For our 4th wedding anniversary, Chad surprised me with a weekend getaway to the Oregon coast. We had never been to the town of Cannon Beach, so it felt like an exciting adventure. We spent our days beachcombing for seashells, hiking the coastal trails and eating fresh seafood. One afternoon, Chad packed a picnic and we drove to Ecola State Park to explore the tidal pools. After we ate, he gave me my gift - a butterfly necklace and a dream catcher he made himself out of beach finds like feathers, shells and stones. It was so meaningful because it represented the natural wonders we discovered together on our trip. I'll always treasure that handcrafted gift celebrating four wonderful years of marriage.
