We have been married for 50 years now.
We have been married for 50 years now. We met at a company Christmas party in 1967. As soon as Werner asked me to dance, I was dazzled by his brown eyes and kind smile. He was such a gentleman and made me laugh all night with his quirky sense of humor. We started dating shortly after and knew right away that we had found "the one." Werner has been my rock and biggest supporter through all the ups and downs of life. He worked so hard to provide for our two daughters and enable me to be a homemaker. Even after all this time, his love and devotion to me and our family never wavered. I have always admired his calm, determined nature. To celebrate our golden anniversary, we renewed our vows at our local church with our children and grandchildren present. It was a very emotional day and I am filled with gratitude for the wonderful life Werner has given me. I look forward to making many more joyful memories with him as we enter this next chapter of our lives together.
