It was our 6th wedding anniversary in late June.

It was our 6th wedding anniversary in late June. The morning sunshine was warm on our skin as Thorfinn and I walked leisurely along the paved path stretching from our home in Vík south towards the coastline. We reminisced fondly about summer memories made exploring this scenic landscape together over the years. Upon reaching a shaded viewing area overlooking the crashing waves, Thorfinn surprised me with a ring I had been wanting to buy. As we gazed at the birds soaring above the rocky shore within view of town, I felt thankful for our life and love built in this beautiful seaside city. Holding hands, we looked forward to making more happy memories to celebrate future anniversaries.
