Mary was young, just 22 when her parents signed her up for an arranged meeting with me. I had doubts that this bubbly girl could love an old man like myself. But Mary lit up any room with her smile and kind soul. Before I knew it, three decades had passed in a blissful marriage. Now in our late 60s, we've weathered all life threw at us, side by side.To celebrate 35 anniversary, I planned a weekend trip down memory lane, visiting all our favorite places from times past. At evening over a dinner at our usual spot, with full of memories, I thanked Mary for her love and support. From my pocket I produced a little jewelery box, inside was a gold infinity knot necklace with our anniversary years. As I placed it around her neck, Mary smiled, taking my hands in hers.
