Penny and I bonded over our love for the outdoors, so we decided on a rustic, nature-themed wedding. Despite my day job crunching numbers, I'm happiest when hiking or camping. We found a beautiful barn venue just outside the city, surrounded by maple trees. The ceremony was held in a nearby meadow, where we exchanged vows under an arch made of local wildflowers. At the reception, instead of table numbers, we named each table after a national park we've visited together. Our guest favors were small potted evergreen saplings, symbolizing our growing love. We danced the night away under strings of fairy lights, feeling grateful for the beautiful simplicity of nature and each other's company.
