Thomas and I have been married for 60 wonderful years now. I still remember our wedding day like it was yesterday - how handsome Thomas looked in his suit and how nervous yet excited I felt. The years have brought ups and downs but our love has endured it all. Through busy times raising our two sons and grandchildren, and quieter times in retirement, Thomas has been my constant companion. We've supported each other through all of life's challenges with kindness, humor and understanding. Every anniversary we reminisce about our love story. I recall our first date at the jazz club where we danced all night, and our courtship letters while Thomas was at law school. Thomas loves to retell the early struggles of marriage - our tiny apartment and homemade dinners. We've come so far since then. Now in our golden years, we cherish simple moments - holding hands during Sunday drives, cooking meals together, reminiscing about travels. Thomas still gives the best hugs and writes me love notes for every occasion. After six decades, he still makes my heart flutter. As we celebrate this diamond anniversary, I feel grateful for our life partnership. Thomas is truly my soulmate and best friend. I look forward to creating new memories with the man I fell in love with all those years ago.
