Mark and I recently celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary. It's hard to believe it's been that long since we tied the knot in a small church ceremony surrounded by friends and family. We met in university when we were studying - I was instantly charmed by his witty sense of humour and passion for football. Now with two children in their early teens keeping us on our toes, we don't get as much alone time as we used to. So to commemorate our anniversary, we arranged a weekend getaway to a charming bed and breakfast in the countryside. Strolling through rolling fields and quaint villages hand in hand like in our early days of courtship was incredibly romantic. Over the years we've faced many changes together - career moves, family additions. But through it all Mark has been my rock and best friend. Here's to creating new memories, big and small, for many years more together.
