It was a beautiful summer day when my now-husband took me to our favorite spot in the park.
It was a beautiful summer day when my now-husband took me to our favorite spot in the park. We had been dating for two years by then and I knew something was up. As we walked, he went on about how much he loved me and that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. He then pulled out a small box and knelt down on one knee. He opened the box to reveal the most beautiful ring I had ever seen - a white gold solitaire engagement ring - and asked me to marry him. I was so surprised that I couldn't even speak and tears began rolling down my cheeks. I finally managed to say yes, and he put the ring on my finger. As the sun set, we celebrated our engagement with a romantic walk. We stopped to look at the stars and talked about the future - all the wonderful things we would do and accomplish together. We shared a kiss and that night I felt like the luckiest girl in the world. I will never forget that magical day and will always cherish the memory of the moment he asked me to be his wife.
